You can fit a shaver socket by cutting a hole in the wall according to the size of the mounting box and securing it with screw-holes. You need to rout electrical wires trough the mounting box. Finally, the ends of neutral, earth and live wires must be fastened to their corresponding terminals, and your shaver socket must fitted and secured with screws. This kind of socket can be mounted behind a hidden panel. It is possible to plug in different devices, but it is not a wise idea, since they may overload the circuit.
It is advisable to utilize a converter, if you are a traveler and prefer to use a different plug configuration. Some sockets of that kind can offer different voltages to really eliminate the necessity to have such a converter.
